HTML is the 'programming language' used to create
a homepage.
One way to create a simple homepage is to search
the web and when you see a page you like, just save the page's html to your hard
drive which you can bring up later in a text editor or a web publishing program
such as
Webmania,
Frontpage or
whatever you would like.
