I had the pleasure of visiting Robert Knight's Bowling Hall of Fame and Museum last week, and was pleasantly supprised at what I saw.
In Robert's museum I saw many collections that I hadn't seen in many years, and a lot that I had never seen. He has bowling pieces from around the world, such as Germany, Australia, Japan, Canada and of course the United States.
Where does he get all of these collections? Well, he goes to flea markets regularly and frequently shops garage sales, Goodwill and the Disabled Veterans industries.
He accepts donations from all over the nation, but mostly goes to collectors shows and buys items with his own money.
Robert states that most of his visitors are from outside of the city of Colorado Springs. I would strongly recommend that all serious bowlers call and setup tours of the museum. Just call (719) 633-8006, a tour can be arranged. The tour cost nothing, but donations are accepted and donations are used to better the museum
For those who haven't seen this museum, you should make it a place to visit this year.
You are visitor number 2219 to visit this site.
